Yellow Pencil (Crystalize)
These are by far my most boring pictures but I tried to make them more interesting by adding curves and turning it black and white. The contrast in the first picture is lower so that the pencil is slightly grayer and metalic. On the right I wanted to see how the bright yellow color matched up with the crystalize filter. it turns out that the crystalize filter doesn't have much of an effect on the image but the bright color still stands out.
Listening devices (Mosaic)
My favorite pictures that I photographed and edited were the photos of my headphones (listening devices). One of my favorite things to do is listen to music and I really enjoy using them. In the process of editing the photos I adjusted many factors of the image to make it more aesthetically pleasing. I really like the first image, the one without the filter, because the contrast is higher and the background is almost entirely black. This makes the headphone case more prominent in the picture and draws your attention to it. Which is a good thing because it is the subject of our photo that I want people to see. There is also some light glistening off the case which is a nice touch, especially against the entirely black background.

Molecules and Atoms (Mezzotint)
This is a representation of a molecule and atoms that make up everything in the world. These are concepts we've been working on for weeks in biology and these are a cool representation of them. I liked the way they looked with the sunlight reflecting off the red atoms. i used some extra saturation and brightness to accentuate the bright colors and it almost seems like it's floating.
Tick-Tock-Tick-Tock (Color-Halftone)
This is an extremely cool piece that is quite fun to photograph. There are many cool angles that you can use to photograph this item, especially against a straight black background. I personally like this filter the best out of al the filters I used. I really like how the face of the watch looks against the somewhat blurry filter.
Bulb (Pointillize)
These photos were taken quite close to Christmas and break was close. The Christmas light almost represented excitement and happiness while looking forward to break. I really like the black and white look on both of these images. It is a colorful light and you can still see the contrast between the background and the lighter bulb but the black and white gives it a cool effect. lastly, the pixelated bulb on the right is very nice looking with the wires trailing off the bottom of the frame.
